Anyways - now to you question;

Well a small port; ja okay but how small? There is almost no area for atleast one house; a port would be to big in my eyes :|. Also you need to terrafrom to get place for nice house so I would not built anything more than a mooring down the cliffs. On the cliff next to the river you have more placement - this is where I would built. I would prefer something like a manor here but the area is maybe a bit too small.
