With the announcement that Spyro the Dragon is also getting the remaster treatment that his best friend Crash did, I decided to finally get off my butt and start remaking some of my ancient mostly lost maps. Since I discovered SpyroWorldViewer was a thing, the resource has been an invaluable part of my build experience thus far and has helped provide me with a fair amount of details normally lost with my old method [ie: playing the games and staring for hours at how certain things curved].

I decided to start with Autumn Plains, my personal favorite world of the original trilogy. Something about an isolated castle at the top of the world just gets to me. So peaceful. After I finish with this one [which is going a LOT faster than the last ones did], I will be remaking Summer Forest and the Artisan Home, two maps I posted up here some time ago. I'll be releasing the old Summer Forest for download for anyone who wants to work on it, but I never will. Not on that one.

I never understood why it was 'plains' when it's at the top of a mountain, but that's just me...
