well, i was bored, as usual, and decided that the best possible way to find a stronghold (really rare btw) was to get myself a transparent texture and start looking around in that 640-1152 square-from-origin sweet spot mentioned on the minecraft wiki. after a few hours of endless trekking i found it! it was almost perfect with very few cave intersections or damaged hallways! I decided that despite the illegitimacy of it's discovery, it would be a shame to pass up this golden opportunity :3, which is why you see this post here today. we are roughly half way through the renovation process, but we still have to fill all the rooms with stuff, so in reality we are much farther from completion.

unfortunately not found the library yet, this place is utterly vast, the 'catacombs' account for about 80% percent of the whole complex *gulps*, it wouldn't surprise me one bit if there were a library buried in there somewhere.
