Welcome!
This project is a replica of two main streets located in Normandy Isles, Miami Beach. The area features a wide range of stores and restaurants, as well as a few residential apartments. The buildings and streets were made as accurate as possible using Google maps and Google street view. The map was built for a client as a commission, and therefore no download is available. However, feel free to explore my other projects!

If you would like to see more buildings like this in the future, please consider subscribing!

1. I get an image of the specific area on Google maps.
2. I use the Google Maps measure tool to find out the real-world dimensions.
3. I resize the image to make it match real life (so for 1:1 scale builds, I make 1 pixel = 1m).
4. I convert the image to pixel art using a converter program (e.g. https://spritecraft.en.softonic.com/)
5. I use worldedit to paste the pixel art into Minecraft, or if it is very large (like this build) I make it into a custom Worldpainter brush and paint it into a new world (many tutorials online).
Hope that helps, if anything is unclear feel free to ask :)
