Hello, I'm ArthurTheEagle, a french kid who is passionate about the world of video games.
Super Mario 16 Universe is a Minecraft project inspired from the Super Mario franchise, by Nintendo. This project started on January 2021. I decided to call the project this way because I took inspiration on Super Mario 64's name, and changed the 64 by 16, because Minecraft uses 16x16 textures, as for the "Universe", I wanted something that represents both earth and space, because the game will take place in those two dimensions, as undirectly shown in this trailer. The game is being entirely made with/in Minecraft 1.16.4 and Optifine for that version. The map is actually only containing 2 original levels, with one containing original music, features, and more. The game is unfortunately not available yet, but will probably be released in late 2021, or in 2022.

This map was a really serious project that was made by passion (That I consider more as a game than a Minecraft map), and is not affiliated with Nintendo in any ways.
THE MAP WILL NOT SUPPORT MULTIPLAYER.
To play the map, you will need :
- Minecraft JAVA Edition 1.16.x
- The use of Optifine 1.16.x
- The Super Mario 16 Universe texturepack
- The Super Mario 16 Universe map

It's been a while, wow... As you probably all seen by now, the project did not realease and isn't ready yet. The development for SM16 Universe has been staying in a constant wait since last September mostly due to personal problems and complete burnout to be absolutely honest. Do not worry, this project isn't discontinued as it was stopped at the end of its development. I truly apologise for the absolutely atrocious wait, I wish to find back the strength to being productive again. Thank you for you support. <3

Mushrooms: restores 1 heart (make the hearts look like the life circle from smg 1)
Fire flowers: shoot out fireballs.
if you can't do that for copyright reasons then here are custom powerups:
Water Flowers: shoot out waterballs (fire enemies are weak to water)
Pizza: restores 1 heart
Pasta: restores all hearts
Luigi coin: if you failed 5 times luigi will come help finish the stage
Luigi cap: transform into luigi to get a speed boost 2 and jump boost 6
Sword?: allows you to defeat enemies by sword but after you clear the game
thats all i need ask a favor of you i want you to add character select LUIGI: easy mode
MARIO: normal mode
