This is probably the most realistic mountain I've ever created. What I mean by that is that the mountain is realistic itself, but the terrain it's in and everything else is not realistic, since mountains don't form on their own, unlike volcanos. It took a very long time making this and laying the snow was very time consuming. Luckily, I created a brush of this mountain and now I can make these mountains a lot easier. This mountain is a preview of my 50-100 sub special. I hope you enjoy and remember to give those diamonds :D
Curious. How do you get the snow to go in streaks like that up the mountain? I mean its clearly a process using a third party method, but I don't understand the steps you'd take.
It's easy, but very time consuming. You just follow the contor lines (use the 3d view too) and slowly stroke the parts where you know that there wont be any snow in real life. Use the second sharpest default circle brush, 100% intensity, and the zoom should be on 50%. There's no way around it, but if you don't know how real snow goes, check out mountain photos on google images.
