Map objectives:
  1. Build a fortified place on the island.
  2. Build a castle surrounded by a large town center with a cathedral.
  3. Build city faubourgs around the town.
  4. Build rural landscape around the town and faubourgs.

Game mode: survival

Minecraft version: 1.13.2

Prefered texture pack: Faithful 1.13 / Sama Faithful 1.5.1

Map progression: 25% (of the initial project, which could be extended, who knows)

Map start date: July, 26th 2018

Map end date: N/A

Map status: In progress

Map download: I probably will provide a first version of this map when the town center will be finished (with castle and cathedral). Then a second one will probable get out when the complete map will be finished.

Seed: 5683846357061636 (Same as Decidedly Vanilla Season 5)

Map history: At start, I just wanted to build a kind of fortified place on a small island. Then I decided to build a town on the nearest shore linked to this island with a bridge.
When i reached the complete built island, as I loved to see the continent from this fort, I decided to build a large mountain in order to increase the vertical dimension and have a better view on the future town overhung by a castle.

After that, I started to build the port, with my first survival boats (I probably will add more boat later).

Now I progress on the map building, house by house. I decided to had a cathedral, which I planned but not built yet, awaiting for more material farm.

Your opinon matters: As I like to share my build, I hope you will enjoy it, and follow updates to come. Don't hesitate to give me some feedback and ideas :)

Update follow up: I send update pictures frequently on my Twitter.

No you are wrong about this - I can imagine. I do also build huge cities in surival sometimes. For Example the regions of Swartbyen and Ariad on my RP-World were build built in surival and later exported to the rp world. In case od Swartbyen it is also sad because I hade more once but lost a lot after a critical disk damage so I needed to use a backup that was month ago. However I know the feeling of building something you worked hard for.
