Hello, Ryer here!

Almost two months of me not doing anything, and I would love to say it was for a good reason. Unfortunately that only accounts for the second month of inactivity. School is finishing up and all the exams and crap take a lot of time away. The first month was me being lazy really. Anyway, the skyscraper. This is the Suzhou Diamond Tower, a recently proposed supertall in Suzhou, China. There is not much information about it as of yet but there were enough renders for me to recreate it. I may have over processed my renders this time around, especially on the night one, but it's not as bad as lots of other things on the pop reel. Anyway, there is not much to say about this at all, so enjoy it. I used a slightly customized version of flows, so a few textures may be off, even with flows activated.

My city is currently a complicated story, as I am helping others with some cities, all while trying to do my own. At the moment progress is slow, but I continue to work on things. I am working with a few others on a 16k map to create something big, most notably Minecraft Expert. A city there is in the works. As for my own, I have no set progress point, things are changing, and I have a few larger projects coming up (not Arcology sized though... yet at least) And my own city may just end up being a Half Life 3 due to how indecisive I am. I will try to get city like projects out sometime soon though.

I understand how you feel, been there in the past. That's is why I decided focus only on my own city. I've been invited to several projects, but I know that in the end it doesn't feel as the same prestige for me so I never accept them. I might join small duo project in the future, so it doesn't distract me too much of my goals to have some variation :)

See, I have worked on those a bit, and I have dealt with that. I can easily just go ahead and work on my own city, andd even get some belp from others, easily. Its just inspiration once I do just plummets. I am belping on this one project to get the experience of citybuilding. A city, as you may know is far more than just a few towers. That is what I am trying to learn, and as I learn more I hope whatever city I release would be just as different an unique as I try to make my skyscrapers. The problem is I don't know how. The city I am helping on is a side project as I work on larger stuff. (I find I cant work on one thing. My arcology looks phenomenal on the exteriors, but the interiors are lacking bad. My elysium project I built along side many other things, and both the exterior and interior are some of my best)

Anyway, it will happen when I know what to do. It will happen when I know how to make it different. It will happen someday.

Nice work. There are a few really interesting buildings in Suzhou that I've come across. I love your night render, the vibrancy of the crown is really nice stylistically. And congrats at reaching 30. Keep it up. Always love seeing your work
