What does T-S:IW stand for? Team - Strike: Infinite Warfare. Yep.
Updated for 1.11!
[Note: versions 1.11.1 and above are not recommended.]
A unique Elytra-based minigame in Minecraft where you can actually fly upwards with a little... explosive boost. And kill with said boost. For a TL;DR, watch the first ~40 seconds of the video.
Game Mechanics:
Gamemodes:
There are two gamemodes in T-S:IW, and those are Elimination and Team Deathmatch. Both were made as team-based gamemodes; a free-for-all mode was considered, but it would really require a lot more development.
You can play with as many people as you want, but we recommend 2 - 6 players. (this place ain't big enough for the x of us, where x >6, no matter how open the space may seem)
You need at least two people (one on each team) to play.
Elimination:
- Everyone has one life
- You can see everyone's health on the sidebar (useful information!)
- You become a spectator when you die
Team Deathmatch:
- Each team has 12 stocks/respawns
- When a team uses all their stocks, they cannot respawn
- You can only see each team's stocks on the sidebar
- You also become a spectator when you die (and have no respawns left)
Last team (or player) alive wins the game!
Origins:
This all spawned about one day when me and my friend Broseph_Stally? were trying to make a viable Elytra PvP system for fun. At first we used teleports (which was boring and unnatural), but then one of us had the genius idea: let's use charged creepers.
So yeah, you're propelled by charged creepers. Isn't that a pleasant thought?

Game Mechanics:
- Use your elytra to fly (press space while falling in mid-air if it does not activate)
- Press the drop button while holding your bow, and a charged boost will propel you forward.
- You gain an 80% damage reduction upon boosting/charging, but the boost can still kill is used in prolonged succession.
- You can kill with your boost.
- Friendly fire is unavoidable; nearby teammates will get a 60% damage reduction, but be careful!

- Killing an enemy by bow and arrow will grant you a short term of invincibility. Also, a nice visual effect, especially at night. And an announcement to boost your ego. (pun unintended)

1 Update Logs
21/01/17 : by post_hiding 01/21/2017 3:26:51 amJan 21st, 2017
- Updated the map for 1.11! (Note: not 1.11.2. Damn you, fireworks damage!)
- Made arrows glow. Ironically, this glowing effect works best in daytime.
- Changed the anti-rain button in the lobby to a "set time to day time" button. This is, without a doubt, the most important feature in this update. /s
