For those who know me, I play a MMO-style game known as Furcadia. On Furcadia, you can make your own little worlds [Dreams] using either their default stuff or third-party stuff you make or find or buy. Kind of like a little 2D-pseudo3D Minecraft.
Teahouse Moon is going to be one of these Dream maps when I have things settled. I'm making it on Minecraft first to get a basic idea of flow before I translate it into the Furcadian system.

The lore behind Tea-house Moon is a simple one; you fall asleep in a strange forest and awaken in this pocket dimension watched over by a moon goddess [Teahouse Moon, for originality's sake aha] and her two sisters ['White is in the Winter Night' and 'Once You Had Gold'; there IS a theme here, believe it or not, kudos to the person who gets it]. As such, the seasons change, but the time of day does not; it is perpetually midnight, when the moon is at its zenith. There are shrines to all three goddesses hidden around the map, though I will have it set up in the Furc Dream that only one is found at any given time; Tea-house is found consistently through spring and summer [though this may change; i don't know if i should add a fourth goddess to this mess], Winter is .... well, winter only, and Gold is autumn.
Everything here is meant to be calm and restful and beautiful, and above all a sort of 'tribute' by the owners to the moon goddess by not only building this establishment, but putting circles in everything. I mean it; there are curves and circles on this map the likes of which I haven't built in a map in forever. There's almost more organic lines in here than squares. But it promises to be fruitful in the end.
The palette is also hard to achieve in vanilla Minecraft, so this is an extremely modded map. The list will be below. As always, the texturepack is Wolfhound's Summer by Thistlepack.
I'm building all of this by hand on a Void preset; I've come to discover I love Void. Expect more maps made on this preset because it is amazeballs.
