Ackes Castle on the mountain

Here is a few screenshots of my season 1 base on Ostercrack. What started as a small house in the jungle ended up to be a project larger than i could ever imagine. The main base is a castle on top of a terraformed mountain in the jungle biome. Throughout the base, farms are scattered around such as a sugarcane farm going from the base of the windmill all the way down to bedrock, likewise the creeper farm located in the base of the river. In the crown of the huge tree there is an iron farm located. This project took roughly a year to finnish, playing on and off but in my opinion it was well worth the time it took!

From joining the server with quite a long break from minecraft i had little to no idea what to build. I have always liked the medieval theme so it came naturally for me that it was the way go, something I was familiar with. Little did i know it would come to be the best survival minecraft build i have ever accomplished, not only it being astethically pleasing to compleate but also being a fully functioning survival base with all of the necessary farms and quirks a base could need.

One of the largest part of this project was the deforestation of the jungle biome. With help from Milusia, Domappcent, NCrafty and so on this part of the project finnished with ease.

Below the entire base at diamond level is a huge open area wich provided me with all the necessary stone materials for the base which i used for the terraforming of the mountain aswell as the castle walls. A lot of wooden materials was also used in this build, mostly spruce aswell as dark oak. Sadly i didnt find much use for the jungle logs that had been collected from the deforestation. The jungle logs collected ended up being roughly 400 stacks wich is around 27000 logs. These unfortunatly never got to see the light of day and remained in the chests in my storage system located inside the mountain. I also wanted to bring in some community theme integrated in my base. To make this happen I dedicated the "town" part within the castle walls to house other Ostercrackers that wanted to have their own quarters in my base. This part was extreamly fun, to see other players from the server do their own take on the interior from the houses i had built within the castle and call them their own!

All and all i feel really happy to be able to share this minecraft base to the other people on this platform and perhaps bring some newcomers interest in the Ostercrack server! This was all from me this time! :D<3

Best wishes / Acke
