The Textron Scorpion is an attack and reconnaissance jet aircraft built by Textron AirLand LLC. Designed originally for the US Air national Guard, it was supposed to be a low-cost low-threat aircraft to compliment the high-cost high-threat F-35 Lightning II. The aircraft was later entered into the USAF's Light Attack/Armed Reconnaissance Program (aka the AT-X program), but lost out to the A-29 Super Tucano. Textron is seeking to sell the aircraft to international customers, such as Nigeria and Saudi Arabia (who have both shown interest in the plane). Until sales are made, the Scorpions fate remains undecided.

This is the beginning of my 2:1 aircraft series. Some of the aircraft you can expect later on are trainer aircraft, UAVs and possibly the Tu-95 :)
