The Acropolis
This build of the Acropolis of Athens is part of a larger ongoing project to recreate Athens in the 2nd Century CE. The build depicts the Acropolis during the Roman Era of Greek History, the last era that featured the original Classical Era structures before an invasion of Heruli Barbarians destroyed the Acropolis in 267 CE. The appearance of the Acropolis is largely unchanged since Greek times as the Romans highly respected Greek Culture and tried to keep the Acropolis as original as possible outside of adding a small temple behind the Parthenon known as the Temple of Rome.
The build of the Acropolis was only recently finished after adding details to the region
This submission is for the World Heritage Sites competition
The full project including other archaeological sites from Athens recreated as they looked in Athens' final glory days can befound here.

However i would like to recommend you to use more colors in the decoration of the temple and other buildings, it's part of Greek and especially Roman architecture to richely decorate buildings.
In the link below is a nice website concerning Greek temple's and their decorations.
And the other one is about Greek and Roman colors and some reconstructions.
I look forward to see more of your work, keep it up!
