This is the ninth part of our project Orian. We created a huge (2048 x 2048) map. It includes forest, plains, taiga, mountains, snowy mountains and islands. The map will also be suitable for survival play, as it includes caves, ores and plenty of natural resources.
In this episode of the Orian project, we completed the empire of Amarion by adding two new towns - Mardia, a harbour town, and Talos, a mining village. There is also a ruin of a Greek temple on a hill, which is used as a defence position.
Since it is 2+ years since we have added something on the kingdom of Esmir we have also built a small harbour village with warships to keep this empire safe from the vikings. Be sure to check out the graveyard near the village as well.
We hope you enjoy the series!

Yes, the outlines definitely help a lot. Although we never keep to them and always change them, it gives a good idea of the build and how different parts are going to be linked together, giving the build more coherence.
