The Craftsman’s Abode
In the midst of a national crisis brought on by overpopulation, two brothers - one a craftsman, the other a collector, must provide housing for their family within what little land they can afford. Lacking the money to hire a contractor, they must construct a home with their limited space and materials.
In the midst of a national crisis brought on by overpopulation, two brothers - one a craftsman, the other a collector, must provide housing for their family within what little land they can afford. Lacking the money to hire a contractor, they must construct a home with their limited space and materials.
The first brother, lacking all but basic building supplies, finds difficulty in designing a living space large enough. He explains to his brother the dire situation and they come to the conclusion - they must utilize both of their talents together.
Reluctantly, the second brother gives up the majority of his collection of odds and ends. The two of them, combining his expertise with strange materials and trinkets and his brother’s architectural skills, assemble a strange yet sturdy patchwork of stone, wood, melons, and everything in between.
This build for me was an exercise in block usage. In retrospect, trying to use all the blocks in the game in a 16x16 space probably wasn't the best idea - as a result, I was not able to fit everything 100%. I did not count banners or flowers/saplings, and I missed a couple blocks such as end portal and beacon. Overall though, I am very proud of how this project turned out, and how close to using every block type within the space provided.
Hope you guys enjoy =D
