The Five Layers is a Minecraft PVP Map created by Flamingo Maps.
Separated into five layers you must use what resources you can find in the allotted time to prepare for the final layer; PVP.
On the first layer, you have three minutes to get wood and food.
On the second layer you have five minutes to get iron and coal.
On the third layer you have ten minutes to get diamond and gold.
On the fourth layer you have five minutes to prepare.
On the final layer PVP begins.

There are two versions of the map, 4-8 players and 8-16 players.

4-8 allows two teams of two minimum and two teams of four maximum.
8-16 allows four teams of two minimum and four teams of four maximum.

These maps can be played with one player against another, however it is not recommended as you will have very few weapons and armour by the time you reach the final layer.

Please make sure monsters cannot spawn!
Note: In order for players to be able to access the Rule Books at spawn, they must be opped, or the books should be handed out by an op.

Divide yourself into teams of 2 to 4 a side.
Each team is to select a stack of islands.
Each stack has 4 islands, the fifth being the PVP arena.
The first layer is your only chance to obtain food and wood.
You have three minutes on this island.
The second layer is your only chance to obtain iron and coal.
You have five minutes on this island.
The third layer is your only chance to obtain diamond, gold and redstone.
You have ten minutes on this island.
The fourth layer is your last chance to prepare yourself for combat.
You have five minutes on this island.
On each layer, when the timer is up, the island will explode.
When you have 30 seconds remaining an alarm will sound and the hole in the center of the island, providing access to the next layer will open.

On the final layer, PVP begins. There are several different arenas you can download from Flamingo Maps (links below).
You may break any blocks except Iron Blocks, Glass Blocks and Fences.
There are several hidden chests among the different layers.
If you die, you are out and can watch from the spectator's area located to the left and right of Spawn.
Do not initiate PVP until you have entered the arena.

To begin, both teams must flick the lever on the way to their island.
You will have 5 seconds to get to your island then the countdown begins.
This map can be difficult for new players, it is recommended you do a practice run first!
Last team standing wins and remember... There can be only one...
