This is the ghost version of the ghost ship I posted earlier!

The cursed crew was doomed to never spend a night ashore after they were spending too many nights in taverns.
The merchants didn't deliver the cargo at the right due, and it wasn't the first time either. The king in his death-bed wen't sickly mad on the crew, cursing and banishing them out of his kingdom.
A short while later a storm was brewing, a hurricane could be seen in the distance, they tried to outsail it, but the hurricane was too fast.
The oil in the lamps got spilled everywhere on the ship and no one saw them ever again. Well, no one lived to warn about their presence, anyway.
