"The Foamy Pint" is the last tavern before travellers reach the depths of the Great woods covering most of the Lake Valley and the only place selling Autumn's Beer and Pumpkin Pies between the Three Sisters of the Lake to the west and the Cleaved Hold in the middle of the eastern forests.
Following the southern road, you'll get to see the endless fields of Lake Valley and dozens of smaller settlements spread over the whole Wheatways.
Travelling North or East, you may be lucky and find some woodcutter encampments or lumber mills, as well as a few settlements along the Dormant Depths, the Valleys largest river.
To the West, you'll soon find more and more settlements;
The lower plains of the West are littered with larger rocks, mining settlements and also fields as well a the swampy area around the Grey Lake and his three most precious treasures:
The Autumn's End, Fisher's Fortune and Driftwood, the largest towns of the Valley, the "Three Sisters of the Lake".
//
My whole map is build with custom 256x256 tiles, only exceptions beeing the lake and it's direct surroundings.
This was my first tile a few months ago, but I lost my interest in Minecraft, abandoning the project...
Until the most recent update.
Now I'm back to building, releasing my first (a bit unfinished) part of my "Mega" project.
Other specials like the "Cleaved Hold", a Merchant Caravan consisting of as well mundane as magic travellers and parts of "Autumn's End" will be released over the next months.
Well, at least I'll try.
And: I use a custom version f conquest, consisting of the latest version paired with older wool- and hardened-clay-texture

Smuggler's Den
Situated on both the Great Woods and the Grey Lake's outskirts, the area around your most favourite tavern has always been the beer- and honey-smuggler's main route of "trading".
If you're interested in disturbing their business or just really like to do all the side-quests, try to find their den and either destroy it with the "Do-NOT-Use-Button", rob their goods or let them fare.
But smugglers aren't stupid:
They use more than just one den.
Maybe you'll find the eight hidden chests loaded with a golden ingot each?

The Forgotten Monastery: Scriptorium and Library
"The Foamy Pint" has not always been a tavern; in it's earlier days, it was used as a small lords home, rebels base and a honey farm.
But a whole lot of years ago, an important monastery of the cult of Iron and Wheat sunk during a year of heavy rain..
Now the highest tower is known as the oldest part of the tavern and may house a secret entrance to the surpringly well conserved scriptorium and library.
Prepare to be flushed down the gutter like the old monastery, and mybe, just maybe...
you may find some old books telling more of the Lake Valley's story.
The books are currently written, though I'm not sure when I'm finished.

The hidden armory of Old Honeypot
In the long years of war before finally becoming independent from the Ursurper of the Throne, the nowadays harmless and wrinkly tavern's host, Old Honeypot, was the leader of a regional band of rebels.
Try finding his armor, which he never wants to wear again and will gladly gift to anyone adept enough to stumble across his hidden armory!

I always hated doing terrain, but now I kind of like it.
