This is my reconstruction of the Forum of Julius Caesar (also known as the Forum Julium) build with the Conquest Reforged mod.
I have based it on what is known from archeological digs, reconstructions made by various artists and some books regarding Roman life and architecture.
Recently i came upon new information which gave me a better view into the construction of the forum into the side of the Capitaline hil. Thanks to this i decided to add an extra floor of portico's and move some features of the forum 1 floor up. Again all this is based on archeological research.
I also decided to change the temple interior by making it a bit higher and removing the barrel vault ceiling and replacing it with 'flat' ceiling. This would have been more likely the case with the original temple for it is a more structural sound construction where the roof is resting on the side walls of the temple and only a small part remains to be covered in the middle.
The forum of Caesar was started by Gaius Julius Caesar in 54 B.C., inaugurated and dedicated to Caesar in 46 B.C. and finaly finished (after some minor changes) by the Emperor Augustus in 29 B.C. The forum was rebuild completely by the Emperor Domitian in 95 A.D. after the forum was destroyed by fire during the reign of Titus in 80 A.D.
The forum was meant as a expansion of the Forum Romanum and served as a place for public business including business that was related to the Senate. And the forum served as a place of worship for the Temple of Venus Genetrix.
Reworked the forum to fit with the timeframe of 280 AD.

So i have been busy getting all my Rome related projects to the same timeframe.
Reworked the Forum of Julius Caesar to the timeframe of 280 AD
- Removed the secretarium from the Curia and added extra doorways to the Forum Romanum. (secetarium was most likely 4th century).
- Removed the arches from both sides of the Temple. (these were build in a wall that was put in to support the Temple structure after the fire of 283 AD)
-Reworked the Basilica Argentaria behind the Temple.

However i did state that a download is most likely available as soon as both the Imperial fora and the Forum Romanum are finished.
Currently only 1 of the 5 Imperial fora are finished, and the Forum Romanum is being reworked completely due to grave errors.
So with the current speed it might take another year or so before a download might be available.
Might be.... So no promises. ;)
