Map information:

USE 1.8 !
I suggest using CONQUEST texturepack, it will look best with that.
When i started this map, i took ireland and used it as a base. I just added mountains and rivers in random spots , its not supposed to be a recreation.
I have not done any worldediting in this map yet, so some details arent there. I might or might not release a future version.

Its 2,000x 2,000x. Exist out of most biomes.
The north is cold and rough.

In the middle its middle temperature, great place to live.

In the south its hot, thick jungles and deserts.

There were no vanilla trees used, when i made this pack i had these packs in my list, they were maybe or maybe not used in this map:

Use a higher spp for your renders (assuming you are using chunky), that way the water won't look super pixelated.  I do my renders 1920 x 1080 at a minimum of 200 spp for daytime shots with no emiters (torches, fire, lava, etc.).  As a general rule of thumb, the lower resolution you have the higher spp required to look good.  Your terrain looks pretty cool, but its hard to see it with the low res renders, I think it would look awsome if you just let it go to a higher spp.

Still though, great work.  Diamond.

I used to do that too, but for some reason what ever I do pmc makes it look like crap when it downscales. Right now I use a resolution of around 250 x 350 (not on pc so cant check), and this way it shows less pixilated then when I do a bigger one.
If pmc would tell what the actual resolution should be for pictures I would be so happy :(.
Thanks of the advice and the diamond !

What I do to keep the file size under 5mb is simly convert the .png chunky outputs into a .jpg which takes up less room.
