Overall I'd say the map was very good. However, there were several times where you got cornered by a monster and it was impossible to escape. At times hiding in lockers did not seem to work either. There were also times where it became unclear if you were meant to be stuck in place or it was some kind of bug, which made for some frustrating gameplay. When monsters appear you are always moved to be facing them, which makes it very difficult to run as you have to remember to turn around even if you already had when you first noticed it. I had to turn off game audio sometime near the beginning as the sounds used for ambience got very repetitive and frustrating. I would recommend using them sparingly and in reaction to specific events, not just on loop all the time. I'm not sure if this stopped later in the map, as the only other time I turned audio back on was when it was stated you had to "use your ears" to get around when you had blindness.

In several monster chase scenes we (I played with two other people) had to have one person keep the monster (or monsters) occupied while the others searched for a way out, so I'm unsure how they would be avoided in singleplayer. The very first (I believe) monster in the cells by one of the gates we simply had to trap in creative mode as we could not get away from it at all.

tl;dr: An enjoyable map with a good storyline, but the monster mechanics definitely need some work.

LOL I think I actually just got the (obviously not supposed to happen) GOOD ending! Not gonna spoil the ending, but anyway I somehow fell off of the spot where the ending takes place and technically that means I could have fought SPOILER and escaped!
