You wake up on an island, unsure of where you are, and how you ended up here.

Not too far away you see a larger Island, with a landmark.
It’s a radio tower, its lights flash methodically. It beckons you over.


The idea behind this island was that a person woke up here and made the best of it before they disappeared.

Before we continue, I need to clarify a few things.
This world was built entirely in creative mode because I was not up to the grinding task that is survival. However, every single building technique is survival friendly. As you are about to see, a player could easily live on this island because of all its generous resources. This world could have been built in survival, however it would have taken several years as you are about to see.

The Island is in fact a Mushroom Island which I heavily terraformed. The mycelium was completely removed and replaced with grass. The landscape was changed to make it look more like a forest island. Reason for this was because I wanted a world where mobs could spawn, but I did not want to completely litter the island with torches. Difficulty in this world is locked on Hard. It also allows me to play with lighting in more creative ways without having to worry about mobs spawning.

Behind the beautiful surface, lies a complex network of machines automating every possible farm in the game. All food gets cooked automatically and sent to the surface, and all drops from farms get automatically funnelled through pipes to the storage unit.

On the Island lies plenty of secrets and hidden entrances to greater rooms. All the hidden passages are interlinked.

- Heavily automated farms of every type, including tree farms, dark oak farms, mob farms, bonemeal farms, melon farms, fish farms, guardian farms, end farms, blaze farms, piglin farms, zombified piglin farms, squid farms, and more. Many of the original farms designs I credit to Ilmango.
- Unique creative scenery, such as a snow-capped End dimension, science fiction Nether facilities, an oil rig, a quarry, or an enormous underground cathedral.
- Survival friendly building techniques and mob proof building techniques.
- Some of the most sophisticated redstone contraptions, such as enormous piston doors or intelligent lighting systems. Credit for some of the designs goes to CodeCrafted.
- Many cultural references.
- ‘Realism’ in mind. I wanted to be as realistic as possible within the confines of Minecraft, so bathrooms, study rooms, realistic transportation and details were my priority.

This is a place of both comfort and paranoia. Whoever built this place was clearly afraid of something happening to them. People had settled here before…
