You just read an excerpt from an in-game

journal, hidden in "The Mine"

If that doesn't do it for you,

let me tell you this.

"The Mine" Is a map unlike

any other.

It is more than a map.

An Experience.

This map will include it's own variation of the default texture pack

along with a folder packed with ambient

music carefully selected by me to be played with the map.

This map includes, as you could guess, a story

full of mystery and possibly a creepy feel to it.

So far, work on the first 2 wings of the mine is done.

There is still so much to do!

If you are interested in helping with the texture pack,

please message me here on planetminecraft.

As you get more and more into this map,

you will realize that this is no ordinary

minecraft adventure map...


Current Classes:

Chaos Warrior

Scholar

Death's Messenger

FEATURES:

An original Story line

A soundtrack patched together by me

Hand-built caves (the map is technically superflat)

Classes (Can be found hidden in-game)

An XP system to brag about on the forums

Classes and XP go hand in hand.

Postable ranks, such as:

Chaos Warrior, Level 10

Estimated time of completion: Longer than 2 months.

The completion is going to be quite a while, now.

First of all, I made the mistake of letting my friend use my laptop.

Sadly, he griefed to high heavens.

I will need to restart my progress from an old backup I made (about a month setback)

Also, I STILL need a texture pack for this, but I might just release it without one.

Finally, with the new 1.5 update, there are some new features that

I can add, and improve. Hang in there, guys!

For the record, I'd advise putting it as adventure mode. I was able to get to the first class and the "Chosen by Death" Thing, 3 souls, and discovered the "It's Here" Thing. Also, I was at the place with said first class, and I took that portal block and used it. Did you know that if you go to the nether on that world you actually spawn INSIDE a nether dungeon , right next to some nether wart?

I will consider this. But a bug YOU might not have know is, on adventure mode, there is also a bug allowing players to still break paintings/item frames. Therefore, im going to consider removing the portal block and certain item frames. Thanks for the feedback by the way, and I'm definitely going to use it. Map should be done in, I'd say, around 2 weeks now

Alright. I played the demo, it looks great. I even griefed the iron blocks to see how far youm have gotten, Not so long. But i look forward to the full map!
