Ohai thar ye' mateys!
I have left this project since long. I am however back to Minecraft, but on the awesome RP server of Lord of the Craft. I will be doing several projects on the server which I will be posting.
Feel free to take this project over, just make sure that you refer to me as the founder of it.

I was playing a survival game where I was building something very similar to a Pirate Cove. I got tired to collect all the materials when the only thing I wanted to do was to build. Then I decided to create a new creative mode map. Once I started to look for the perfect location, it took me quite a while, but I found it after some time.
If you like this project please leave a thumbs up and leave a comment. If you got any ideas please feel free to share them.
The Pirate Cove is located on a quite big peninsula with mountains on it. It is surrounded by water and actually looks very good for the purpose.
The Cove will contain several "hubs" where I image different Pirate Clans live in different hubs. I might make a centerhub as well. In the bigger waters just outside the Cove I will try to make some Pirate ships. I have never made them before so I believe I have to put that into my portfolio and experience of Minecraft architecture.
The Cove architecture itself is quite unique. I try to have it semi tiered with several different sorts of rooms, from storage rooms to officer messes and regular rooms. There will be no glass windows, since I found this nice little window design that I think fit into the theme better. I use ALOT of cobblestone, which most often is highly frowned upon, and I myself hate it. But I think I have found a general style that fits the theme and looks very good.
The save is a Creative Mode save. Use this link furthest down on the page to switch to survival mode.
To do-list
Finished-list
I think the shape of the ship got a bit weird, the width is too big. I like the design details I have come up with so far. I also think the interior is getting along very well.
I am very happy with The Gloomy Skull Tavern & Bar. I am something of a tavern master, if I may say so myself, but I think this is my best tavern so far.

Right now though I'm on a Singleplayer rampage playing around with a bunch of mods, mainly Millenaire, BetterThanWolves and Mo'Creatures. I'll put up my work on that save in a project as well, since I have some nice plans and the mods deserve some attention from me.
