Hello everyone! I am here to present a new project I am working on! It is the Province of Skyrim, directly from The Elder Scrolls V. I want to make a life size scale of the entire map! Of course, I won't be able to do it by myself, right? But before that, let me tell you exactly what I am making:
  • A 1:1 scale of Skyrim
  • Adding all the cities, dungeons, and other places
  • NPC's?
  • Turn it to an adventure map


This map is going to take a long time and will be hard, but I accept the challenge! The map will be 7000 blocks wide and 5500 blocks tall. The main hard part of this will be to make the land and landscape.

biggest joke is that you cant even make a 1:1 scale map of half the world with only 7k by 5,5k

Goodluck, but that really isnt one of the biggest projects, therefore the title is rather misleading.

Hey man, have you checked wether it is feasable?

I'll just present you some map dimensions:
Width: 6854.4 meters
Lenght: 5414.4 meters
Height: 766.5 meters

I've looked at the map ingame of skyrim, in fact: render , reduced to 256 height the map is really rather unimpressive. Plus, 1:1 scenery at a 1:3 terrain height scale, isn't really going to work i'm afraid, most certainly with the common tendency of builders to build at 2:1 or even bigger scales.
