I decided to take a break from the terrain projects for a while and give a few houses I found a try. The first one I decided to build is called the Robie house and was designed by the famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright.

The Frederick C. Robie House is a U.S. National Historic Landmark in the Chicago, Illinois neighborhood of Hyde Park at 5757 S. Woodlawn Avenue on the South Side. It was designed and built between 1908 and 1910 by architect Frank Lloyd Wright and is renowned as the greatest example of his Prairie style, the first architectural style that was uniquely American. It was designated a National Historic Landmark on November 27, 1963 and was on the very first National Register of Historic Places list of October 15, 1966.

The whole thing was created by hand in the new creative mode without any mods except for the outside terrain. I used lots of different references when building this, including some photos, a 3d model, a lego kit and a basic room floor plan. I tried to keep the outside as well as the inside as close to the original as I could, but ended up having to edit quite a bit to fit the minecraft environment better. Lots of the new 1.8 items were used throughout the entire house.
