Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen.

Allow me to present to you my new project: The Salamander Isles.

If you've seen my other projects, you may have noticed I've been experimenting with a slightly different style. I think it turned out ok so I hope you guys like it.

Please keep up my morale by diamonding, favouriting and subscribing. Thank you!

Your work gets better with every build, man.
Whenever I see you've got something new up, I get the chills because I know I'm about to be wowed.
Aah Voxxx. I always look forward to hearing from you. Thanks for yet another diamond, favourite and comment.

It's not possible you can look forward to hearing from me nearly as much as I look forward to seeing your latest work.

If you ever decide to start building on a server, please let me know.  The server I play on (and where I recently started working as staff) is just about the best grief-free survival server out there and I know your work would be hugely covetted there.
You're piling on waaaaaay too much pressure to impress. I will end up disappointing you.

It's good to see that you use chunky, but your renders could still be improved.
I suggest using a skymap and also lowering the sun altitude to get nicer shadows.

He is using a skymap lol... and I like his renders.

Uhm, I mean...a better skymap.

Well, I like his because I see people that over use thier skymaps and make the build look bad. and I like his because his is simple and really expresses the build itself. You want people to focus on the build, not the skymap.

A balanced combination of build and skymap is key in my opinion.

When someone uses a skymap that hurts my eyes then it makes the build look bad. and his does a good job of making a perfect combonation.

http://gyazo.com/fb49b495fe2903050e618ce8d68e45c4 still... with a perfect amount of visible sky and nice after effects you definetely get the best results.

That render kind of hurts my eyes. it's way to sharp. and it shades the build too much.

Well, you seem to have a very "different" taste than most people I know then.
Ok! I promise to use a better skymap in future!

Thanks for the discussion.
very cool
Thanks.

Gorgeous build, although i'm missing a small patio or garden over there. Overall build looks very good, bit too much repetition in that wall/tower thingy maybe though.
I see what you mean. Always happy to have a few pointers. Thanks!

Beautiful!
Thanks!
Nice build. You need to try and blend it into the terrain a bit more. I don't like the way it's just... put there. Diamond for good detailing
I'm not 100% sure what you mean but thanks. I'll definitely try and think about how to fit the building to the terrain for next time.
Don't really know how to explain it that's why xD I'll stay tuned for your next build :)

Awesome job ;o I like the Salamander especially <3
That is because you have impeccable taste. Thank you very much!
It's amazing! Really how much time did you use on this?!
Thank you!

I spent about five days doing it. I'm not sure how many hours in each day.

Structually simple given that it's basically like a hallway with a sort of courtyard thingie infront of it, but looks quite nice actually. Indeed a nice build.
