Welcome to the Shaft.
This is a unique open-world horror map for Minecraft Java Edition version 1.7.10.
This, with the help of some mods, places the player in a dark and dangerous world of monsters, lunatics, murderers, and all kinds of creatures and people, all contained in the endless mineshafts in an unknown location.
There are also plenty of secrets and easter eggs for the player to find.
The player must learn to survive down here, with the help of other people, guns, drugs, and most importantly, wit.
Come explore endless dark corridors lurking with who knows what, along with various camps or other sites scattered around this vast, claustrophobic underworld.
Abandon all hope ye who enter in.
ATTENTION: There is now an extra for the resource pack that replaces (most of) the gun sounds from Vic's Modern Warfare Mod, making them sound more powerful, having lots of reverb that echoes throughout the halls, and generally more fitting sounds.
This can be found here.
Information on how to install it is in the folder's readme. Legacy feature, now no longer optional but included with the rest of the map.
