The "víbora" or "viper" in english, is a fictional pirate ship based on a frigate.
Such pirate ships would have been uncommon in the 1700s. This is because the víbora is a large ship for a pirate ship. Most pirate ships were small sloops or schooners, this is because most pirate ships were stolen and taken over. It was easy to take over a sloop or schooner which had little defence and men, but larger ships such as naval vessels were much harder to take over.
Larger vessels also needed larger crews and in most cases, pirate ships did not have large crews.
In saying this however there were still many pirate that managed to capture larger vessels such as unarmed transport frigates. The pirates would then obtain cannons and fit out the ship with them.
The ship also features cannons which have exposive affected when triggerd, I was going to add the ability to fire tnt but it blew a hole in the ship. So its just an effect for now.
