I try to transform this village to become a effective and good looking base for a minecraft solo experience. All the buildings have a purpose ( most of them ) Your home with a bed a few chests and basics garnishments, the NPC house well furnished for this big community, Lumberjack house for everything regarding forestry, forge for the anvil, alchemy lab, enchant room in the library and so on...
I work this project with basics materials as we could all gather in solo mode, nothing fancy or you will be hardly getting by yourself. Of course I created this in creative mode but I wanted to keep this village simple. Perhaps I will do this exercise again with another concept but I have other ideas coming sooner than this.

You know what pops into my mind?
With such a "tiered" approach it would be possible to actually create a mod arround village progression from low tier to high tier. Player have to gather resources to fortify the village ect.
