Just a fun project I've set out on, to convert the end island into a giant station of sorts.

Lore:

The void ship was built to explore the dead space between dimensions. It has 3 rings.

The inner most ring houses the rift engine, and experimental piece of technology, which uses several obsidian pillars, in addition to a dimensional gate, in order to facilitate the power requirements of the ship.

The second ring houses the living areas for the crew. Housing, leisure, dining, and other such things are housed in this middle ring.

The outer most ring features both storage, as well as the hangers. The hangers house simple scout ships which can be dispatched to the outlying end islands for research and resource gathering.

The void ship would persist for a long time, as the main station for the exploration of alternate dimensions. However, it would eventually be destroyed when it collided with an endstone meteorite, causing a meltdown in the rift engine. The unstable rift began warping space around it, causing the ship to phase into the meteorite. The emergency protocol activated, closing the rift, and leaving the void ship stranded. The ship would attempt repairs, dispatching the D.R.A.G.O.N drone to collect the debris. However, the damage was too severe, and the obsidian pillars were far too warped to stabilize another rift. the dragon was left to continuously circle the island, feeding off the ships power reserves.
