Hello !

On this map, there is one building. It's a real Theatre, the one of the town "Sète" in the south of France. This summer, the director of this theatre proposed a chalenge : "build the Theatre Molière using minecraft!". This map is the result of 160 hours of work.

I built it using some architecturals plans and pictures found on the internet. So, some parts are empty because I did not have enought informations to build it. But, the most important things are there! ...and there is the right number of chairs in the theatre :p, just a detail.

So, that was a competition, and the price for the winner was a 3D printing of a part of the minecraft build ! I received it and now you can see two pictures about that. Enjoy!

Building size (on minecraft) = 380 x 170 x 155 blocks / 6blocks=1metter
minecraft version = 1.8.8
Please, don't use Texture Packs, I choose the colors using the original. So it's the only one that gives you the good looking of the building.

And thank you to CrankerMan for the render !

Hi, just a small update, and the last one for that project. I've changed most of the pictures for really better ones. And I took some pictures using a shader pack for the exteriors.

well, actualy that build was made for a kind of "competition". And the print was the price for the winner. I didn't do that. And it was made by a very small French company. So, I can't help you on that point ^^ Sorry :)

you didn't set it up by yourself on the website?
And, could you perhaps then set me in contact with whoever did it then?

It was the staff of the theatre that contacted them. But the name of the small company is "Sculpteo", if you want, you can look for them on the internet. Actually, the colors aren't very beautiful but I suppose they can do better if you pay more... I don't know...

Really, I know nothing... Me, I just build the copy of that theatre on minecraft. After, some people from the staff of the "real" theatre did all the rest :) . I never had any contact with them or with the Sculpteo team. I just received the print and, that's all actually... But I think it's a man of the company that transfered the minecraft build into something new that works with their 3D printer.
