The City of Axia

This is the NPC town of Axia, one of the larger NPC villages of the phase 1 release of our new server, Patriam: Infinitus. Axia, built by Japersx, takes on a distinct roman harbor town theme with a central temple farthest away from the sea, a music hall for entertainment, a fort with underground barracks, multiple market stalls, and docks for ships. Axia is also conveniently situated on the peninsula of a massive island, requiring only one side to be walled off and gated to the wilderness. Lore wise, Axia is a mere physical remnant of a massive empire that spanned several continents, but today it is an independent city-state with priorities on establishing a trade network throughout the region.

The First Story Event!
This coming Saturday (18th March) at 6pm EST, and is a special one as it technically includes two events.

First: The Norkinian Civil War begins
Although outside the map, The Norkinian Civil War will begin, meaning the Norkinian colonies will become independent warlord realms with the
possibility of quests popping up to support specific warlords in the region. Since supplies from their homeland have been cut off, raids will
become a frequent occurrence as the various warlords will begin attempting to expand their territory. Each warlord can be identified via their own special banner, usually a variant of the main Norkinian one.

Second: The Invasion
Some of you may have seen small references to this that I've been dropping ingame over the past few weeks. This first event will be a large PVE
battle against a large invading force, I will not disclose much information about whom is invading, but the more perceptive and/or veteran among you may have some idea as to who is coming. It would be wise to begin preparing for war, and finding new citizens to fight alongside you!
