In 2018. Steve was exploring the overworld until he found a house thats in the middle of no where. It had tables and a path with a garden around the house. Also he saw a tower at the back of the house. When he went inside the house he saw a ladder leading down to somewhere. He climbed down the ladder and he saw a machine with buttons and he went in and activated it and was teleported back to 20 MD while inside a tube then he had a look around. He saw cavemen and there were only a few cavehouses . Then he went forward by clicking a lever inside a small tube and found out its a time machine.

Steve found a photo left in one of the houses and found the photo that was taken in late 1820s labed "view from the window at minecraft" and took the photo with him.
"Street market; Minecraftia" Taken in 1843
After he left the house he found a print of another of photo that was only the floor and was taken in late 1830s early 1840s but was in sepia got a glimpse of street life.
"Car parked between two Row houses" Taken in 1994
Then he went in his time machine and traveled to the mid 1990s and found a photo which was stored in a library and bought the photo that was taken in early 1994.
He went in to the future and found flying cars and light roads and wierd street lights. Meanwhile Steve looked at the date and it said 2250 and questioned himself saying am i in the 23rd century? Then he had a look around and sawe flying cars and really tall buildings. But later on he went back in his time machine and went back home to base.

I decided to make this because when i found out about the build contest based on evolution i decided to make a time travel map that shows evolution of villages over time.
The view from the window at minecraft was a minecraft version of "view from the window at le gras" (Very first photograph ever taken)
The sepia was to recreate what images were like in the 1800s
The subtle noise effect and bluring then sharpened with a bit of brightness was to make a 90s effect in minecraft
