YouTubers make a living by providing entertainment for a large audience. Thus, it's no surprise that they need unique, original content to keep people coming back to their videos.
That is what I have strived to create in this map, "TNT Wars: Pirate Warfare", made especially for PrestonPlayz! The map features two large ships, one per team, in which the enemy teams try to kill each other. Of course, one way to do so is to build TNT cannons to blow the other player(s) up, but this map supports several other strategies as well, including: crossing the water and sneakily boarding the enemy ship, hitting a target to make lava rain on the enemy ship (lava optional), and utilizing a special area, hidden away behind the giant "TNT Wars" sign!
Once you get to the lobby, there is an info book that will give you a brief summary of what is available and how to utilize various aspects of the map. That way, I don't have to clutter up this page with a bunch of tips and tricks. Check it out if you're interested!
A few highlights worth mentioning: 2 wall types, 2 handicaps, adjustable fire burn/lava spread speed, 3 assorted kits, 6 very compact, refillable chests containing everything you need, an entire biome just for decoration, and more!
This map is made with Preston in mind, but everybody has full permission to play and record this map. As far as how many players can play at once, it is fully multiplayer compatible, so you should be able to play with as many people as you want! There is also a built-in spectating feature, so dead or extra players can spectate instead.
My name is _Lapis, and I am the sole creator of this map. I have added in a ton of special features and little extras using command blocks to make the game as enjoyable as possible. That said, this map has taken me a lot of time to finally put together, so your support is much appreciated!
NOTE: Map is intended for Minecraft Vanilla version 1.10.2. Anything above should be fine, but anything 1.9 or below will probably break stuff!
NOTE #2: The pirate ships are NOT my design, although I did heavily edit them for the particular purpose of this map.
