Hey guys! Working on a big project, so I don't have a big thing to post this week. But I thought I would post another nice little detail that some people could use for Japanese-styled builds. It's a Torii; those ornamental gates commonly seen at the entrance to Shinto shrines.



I recognize the lintel would be better built in black, but until we have black slabs I thought the cobblestone would suffice. I chose cobblestone over nether brick because 1) it is more available to more players and 2) the reddish tinge of the nether brick was more noticeable because of the red in the Acacia posts. The Cobble provided a needed contrast.



This gate was originally built for a pagoda, but that has since been deleted. :(
