So this is my first real life and modern day military vehicle I went and built. So here we have the TOS-1 'Buratino', a 220mm 30-barrel multiple rocket launcher and thermobaric weapon which is mounted on a T-72 tank chassis. The TOS-1 'Buratino' was developed by Russia in 1988 and is still in use today.
So I built the standard TOS-1 with the missile system lowered and would have had left it at that but decided to go ahead and do the TOS-1 in firing position. I also included these special lockdown mechanisms which the TOS-1 has located on the front and rear which are deployed when being put into firing position.
As my first modern vehicle I have to say it ended up good since I scaled it with my Crysis M5A2 Atlas tank which I will be using that scale for all vehicles that I will later build. The main problem I had was with finding a location for the rocket launcher system to fit on top. I originally would've had it placed one block higher but it would've looked to tall and instead lowered it which kind of prevented putting any detail on top of the turret unless you have the rocket system raised, then you can add the slabs and detail to the top of the turret. Other than that I think I did great on the design.
