My submission for One Chunk Challenge Project Contest. Since it was Halloween, my plan was to create any necromancer theme for my project and on my profile page. One idea that came into my mind was to create a Necromancer Tower.
My first step was to plan from sketch before commencing the build in the recommended world for the contest. I decide to write every possible aspect for the theme to make it look great.
Second step was to image my sketch from the world. Building the ribcage seems normal but the skull was quite difficult to make so I build a 2D outline before making it 3D. Next was building the tower and I have no problem with that aside for adding some details. When it comes to the top of the tower, I copy the skull I made from the tower, rotate it a little and sculpture it (add blocks to make it looks good). Next was improving the beam and the ascending souls. I have no issue with improving the green beam, only for the souls. I have to layout the chunk so the block shouldn't cross outside the chunk.
Finally, the underground. Adding the dragon skull was not on the list but that is what I have in mind after the planning. Others was seem pretty well designed.
Since the jmc2obj doesn't support Blackstone and some of the blocks on 1.16, I decide to use shaders instead.
