U.S.S. Archer (NCC-627) is a Federation Starfleet Starship. Designated as a Scout Vessel which was designed for Survey Missions and supporting larger Starships. It has limited offensive and defensive capabilities, standard sensor suite, and is maneuverable and fast due to its small size. Ships like the U.S.S. Archer are the only ships in the fleet where an officer with the rank of Commander or Lieutenant Commander was in command rather than a Captain. Lastly, since it is small, it requires only a minimal crew with the minimum of 3 personnel up to the maximum of 20 personnel.


Technical Data

(Physical Arrangement)

The ship's design consists of the Primary Saucer shaped Hull and a single Warp Nacelle at the bottom connected to the Primary Hull by a cut out Pylon.

(Propulsion Systems)

The ship has two Impulse Engines located on the aft of the primary hull as the main propulsion system while various maneuvering thrusters where located across the saucer. The Warp Nacelles were powered by the Warp Core and used for faster than light travel with the speed of Warp 7.

(Tactical Systems)

The ship is lightly armed with only two phaser emitters in one firing bank located at the dorsal part of the saucer. Shields are deployed through emitter grids across the hull and powered by the Shield Generator.

(Interior)

The interior consist only of two decks with some sections include both decks. The Bridge design is standard for Starfleet ships with the Command Chair in the center, forward console for helm and navigation, and 4 other consoles, while the viewscreen is at the front.

More rooms and sections are located on both decks which are accessible through hallways or the two vertical turbolifts. Some of the rooms include systems that power the ship and its components, rooms for various divisions and specializations, rooms for storing cargo and material, and rooms for the crew's comfort and health.

Since the ship doesn't carry any auxiliary craft, it can be accessed using the forward docking bay with a docking port that can be used to connect the ship with another docking port or the rear door of some specific type of shuttle like the Class C Shuttlecraft.

In case of "abandon ship" order, there are 4x Personnel Size Life Pod Launchers with five pods each that can be used for evacuation.
