Hello everyone. I would like to show off a huge project with you all, one which I have taken all on my own. It is the U.S.S. Voyager (Intrepid Class) Starfleet vessel.

I started this project about 6 months ago, by myself and block by block. As an artist I don't believe in using programs or outside tools (those that use some form of auto-building or the like) to assist my work. This is a hand built project using the Tim Palgut reworked schematics.

The dimensions of the ship were planned out by importing each page of schematics into a paint file, where I then mapped it out in grid mode, to turn the lines into 'pixels'. The front and side views were cropped to match the deck images (which were already scaled to eachother).

Each 'deckplate' has been layed out and situated within the main skeletal structure, details being added to each deck as I go- from the ground up. Hopefully, the ship will be complete within a few more months and perhaps I will make this map available for download.

I plan to make working turbolifts (using command blocks), torpedo launchers, transport pads, holodecks, and phasers. Still figuring out a working warp drive for something so massive.


So far, the bottom 3 decks are nearly complete. There is no one else helping me with this project, just me and my phone.. and a lot of free time haha.
