Scale Model of USS Arizona BB-39, in her final (1941) configuration.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Model used for videos on personal channel.
USS Arizona, a Pennsylvania-class 'Super-Dreadnought' Battleship, served for the United States Navy between 1916 and 1941.
In July of 1929, a 20 month process of modernisation begun on her. This model shows her modernised configuration.
Arizona served until she was sunk in port during the attack on Pearl Harbor of 1941,
after her forward magazine was detonated by a Japanese bomb.
A memorial for all the sailors killed during the incident can be found above her wreck.
It'd be a shame to let these impressive vessels get lost in history, hopefully my work can get people interested in the real things!
Please use the download fairly and give credit if used for your own projects :,)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Model Details:
Length : 186 Blocks
Beam : 31 Blocks
Draught : 9 Blocks
Height o/a : ~52 Blocks
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[**I do not intend to promote any ideals or political views of any era in any of my posts,
these are simply replications of structures that have existed or still exist**]
