USS Enterprise (cv-6), one of three Yorktown class carriers, started her long and eventful service life in 1938.


Taking part in more major actions in the Pacific war than any other US vessel, she earned the most Battle Stars of any ship and making her the most decorated war vessel of ww2.

During her service life she received many upgrades and refits, until she was sent to be scrapped in 1958. This model depicts her 1945 configuration.

It'd be a shame to let these impressive vessels get lost in history, hopefully my work can get people interested in the real things!
