Introduction

After exploring zeemo's "World of World" map, I got inspired to continue on his build. I loved all of his builds, but I was especially in love with Venice, so I mainly expended on that. First thing I built was Rialto bridge and surroundings, San Giacomo Di Rialto, then church of Santi Apostoli and surrounding, then San Giorgio Maggiore. I am currently working on Poveglia. For now I am only uploading San Giorgio Maggiore, 'cause other builds are not quite complete, but they will be added later. Also I only finished the exterior of the build, so if you want to build interior and post it as yours, you can do it. if you want to include my build in your build and post it, you can do that to. However, you have to let other people build upon your build as well if they want. I give permission to anyone who is interested including my build in their video.

My goal for this project is to build the full replica of Venice in Minecraft. Most of the well known attractions of Venice will be gradually added to this map EXCEPT San Marks square, and the other builds zeemo already built. For this reason I will purposely leave the lot empty where I have placed the square in my map (my personal map that won't be uploading), so if you want you can either download zeemo's world of world map and copy and paste it on the map, or build your own.

San Giorgio Maggiore

San Giorgio Maggiore is the Island facing san marks square. It has dock, light house, garden, forest and church...etc. The church was built by the legendary architect Andrea Palladio in 1610. since its completion, it has inspired countless artist, including some of the well known artist such as Claude Monet; "Sunset in Venice" 1908, and "The Church of San Maggiore, Venice" 1908.
I tried to keep it as realistic as possible. I used several photos, and google map to assist me build. However I got bit lazy at the end, and so some details are missing; port, roman theatre, and basically the east half of the island (facing Lido) is missing. also added Labirinto Borges
