I was getting kind of bored the other day after having done around 5 videos in a day. I thought I'd mess around with the new TNT mechanics. Specifically, how the explosion affects your character.
Could I build a TNT Man Cannon?
The redstone behind it couldn't be simpler. A simple redstone line encircles the blocks of TNT on the first level, and the placed redstone torch powers the level above. Simples!
I knew that for a vertical cannon to work, I'd need equal amounts of TNT on all sides. For maximum velocity, I'd also need two layers. I came up with this circular design fairly easily as the TNT surrounds your character (who's dead centre in the contraption) and explodes at the same time. No repeaters, no delay.
