This is a map that I worked on for a little bit, I didn't really plan for it before I started, the only thing I thought was, a volcano would be cool! As I was building it, I started adding peices that I thought would go with the theme of the map. I used world painter to make the cliffs around the perimiter, but the volcano was created by making a shape at the top and building down and out. I decided to put the lava at the botton of the volcano because I wanted to have the players be able to battle inside it. I added the obsidian to make the map look more like the landscape had been overrun by the lava from the volcano, and I added the spiral staircase and the birdges to make it seem as if a town managed to place down some strudy structures before the volcano drove them away. I got the pictures at the end from going into forge and selecting a really good looking shaderpack. I made this map in the 1.8 snahshot 14w11b, and there are elements of the snapshot in the map(barrier blocks), Dragnoz(or any associates) can change that or keep it how it is.
