这座建筑仍旧来自于我最喜欢的中国科幻电影《流浪地球2》,我建造了电影中“太空电梯” 的基座部分。在电影中,它位于非洲加蓬的利伯维尔海岸,是整座太空电梯的地面端。
This build still comes from my favorite Chinese science fiction movie "Wandering Earth 2", and I built the base part of the Space Elevator in the movie. In the movie, it is located on the coast of Libreville in Gabon, Africa, and serves as the ground end of the entire space elevator.
这个建筑的比例选择较为复杂:我是以“玩家高度为175cm”为基准选择的比例,我称其为“1:1”,但实际上应该接近1.23:1。
The scale selection for this build is quite complex: I chose a scale based on the player's height of 175cm, which I call "1:1", but in reality it should be close to 1.23:1.
这个建筑比例为我带来了不少麻烦。并不是换算上的问题,而是绝对大小的问题:在制作过程中,我发现这个建筑的总体规模变得愈发巨大(甚至超出了我原先的距离认知),在我意识到“我在用Minecraft制作一个很恐怖的造物”后,我仍旧决定完成这座建筑。
This building scale has caused me a lot of trouble. It's not a matter of conversion, but an issue of absolute size: during the production process, I found that the overall scale of this building became increasingly huge (even beyond my original distance perception), and even after realizing that 'I am making a terrifying creation in this game'I still decided to complete this building.
最终的结果是一座主结构高约3800方块,平均半径2100方块,最长处超过5000方块的巨大结构,这快触及了Minecraft的物理极限,我在渲染图片的时候,不放大图片观察,甚至看不出方块的存在!但这就是这个建筑在电影里的真实大小。
The final result is a huge structure with a main height of about 3800 blocks, an average radius of 2100 blocks, and a maximum length of over 5000 blocks. This almost reaches the physical limit of Minecraft . When rendering images, I do not zoom in to observe. I even cannot see a block! But this is the true size of the build in the movie.
秉承着“既然做了这么大,就做的完美点儿”的原则,我参考了电影本身和电影官方的设计方案,甚至是采访了一名电影班底的艺术家来获得更多的资料来复原,最终的结果是准确基于电影版的设计的。
Adhering to the principle 'if you make it this big, make it perfectly', I referred to the film itself and the official design plan of the film. I even interviewed an artist from the film crew to obtain more information for restoration, and the final result was accurately based on the design of the movie version.
