The water Mill House is build for the contest: Behind the Picket Fence. If you feel like this project should win, please support me by giving me a diamond. Thank you so much, it means alot to me!
A old man, 72 years old already lives in a house near a river for 25 years, and he still enjoys the house. Back in his days he was a lumberjack, now he's retired, and he enjoys life in his house. He and his wife moved in this house when their children moved out their old house. Now he has grandchildren, so he buyed 2 goals, and he made his own swing. He spends most of his freetime on the garden and fishing, but sometimes he goes in the jacuzzi on the 2nd floor. But now he's old and he wants to sell the house because living in such a big house is beginning to get a problem.
The house features:
-2 living rooms
-1 bedroom
-1 bathroom
-2 balconies, with on one of them a jacuzzi
-A water mill, that makes the whole house live on green energy
-A open kitchen
building information:
I did use the following commands in the world: so things didn't dissapear or appear
/gamerule doRandomTickspeed 0
/gamerule doDaylightCycle false, because i didn't want to work in night time.
/weather clear 10000
/gamemode sp
/setblock .....
and i gave myself a pufferfish skull, can you find it?
Terraining:
I used barriers to in the river so i could place grass and flowers to make it look like it was seaweed, i have never seen this idea before so i'm very proud of the concept.
All custom trees are made by hand, because of the rules in the contest.
Interior:
I used barriers, to get rid of the water particles made by the water in the jacuzzi. I used alot of carpet, and i think using the bed as a pillow is a new bed design
The garden:
Using a anvil and rails, i made a bbq, i used /setblock to place the rails, very strange how detector rails and other special rails will dissapear when you place them.
I builded a tree with a swing attached to it, i know, very stereotypically.
The pond i builded, is based on the pond that is in my garden in reallife.
The house:
The palet features:
-The new block that comes with the update 1.12: concrete
-The coloured shulker boxes, these where the only brown color that matched eachother
-Spruce log.
The water mill is the main reason i think this house stands out. And i like the concept alot.
