Hey everyone, this is my recreation of Wham!'s Last Christmas in Minecraft Note Blocks.

This was built manually; every note block was placed myself. There are no editing tricks to alter the tempo or sound; the video is playing at 100% speed and using the original game audio.

Please feel free to use this in your own world, but please just remember to give credit where possible.

Subscribe on YouTube for more note block songs.

Dang! I'm not musically talented or very competent with redstone, so stuff like this always blows me away. But this is on another level of awesome. I can't imagine the arduous process of tuning the blocks then hooking up the redstone to it.

It’s not so bad now that I’ve got into a good rhythm of building the circuits. At first it was a lot of trial and error and I had to rebuild parts, but now I can lay out a new section fairly rapidly. I start with the redstone, then add the notes, and then I tune them.

Manually every block? Don't make us laugh ... For a long time everyone knows the programs in which these map are made in a couple of minutes. You are deceiving us, or you are acting very stupidly by building a map manually when you can do it in 2 minutes.

Wow, what a horrible reply. I'm grateful that you would take the time to put your message here. Take a look at my map if you want and you will see that it is not built using Note Block Studio (I'm not even aware of any other software that does these, but that's the common one). The build is very uniform as it helps me keep track of where I am in the song (I use a spreadsheet with the X co-ordinates of my map on mapped against the place I have got to in the music so I can quickly go back if I make a mistake).

The reason I build manually is because there are a lot of things you cannot do in Note Block studio (such as the pistons that I use to fire notes on a 1.5 tick interval or even do a 100 BPM tempo!). Comments like these make me want to stream what I do so people can see the lengths I go to in order to build the tracks as accurately as I can.

Again, thanks for taking the time to comment, but I am not deceiving anybody. I have nothing to gain from lying when I could just as easily say that I use Note Block studio.

EDIT: Also, check out my tutorial series if you really want as it shows all of the techniques that I use to build.

Judging by your answer, you are telling the truth. I apologize for my mistaken opinion.
At my discretion, you have done tremendous work, which is not worth it. You can do the same with the help of Note Block Studio (without pistons) and not waste such efforts.
I put a diamond for your time spent, no more.

Do not be offended at me, please, this is just my subjective opinion.

Once again I apologize for slandering you for lying.
Maybe something I don't understand and just wrong.

Thank you for apologising. I do understand your point that it’s faster to use Note Block Studio, but my objective is to achieve the best accuracy possible, and I enjoy making the maps too.
