It's bigger than it looks, and takes up the better part of a 1000x1000 block area.

I've seen a lot of other White House builds that were claimed to be 1:1 scale, but few, if any, even came close. The people on my channel wanted to see the White House so I created what I believe to be Minecraft's most accurate White House. I used pictures of people standing next to the White House in order to scale things accurately, and I used whitehousemuseum.org for blueprints and interior pictures. The only floors I did not recreate were sub-basements containing laundry rooms and electrical contraptions and such. Google Maps was used to place trees in the proper locations.

In modeling each room, I made sure to keep color schemes the same, including walls and rugs. If it was possible to recreate the floor pattern or rug in a room, I attempted to. If not, I created similar patterns using all the same colors. If there were no pictures or even a description of what a certain room was, I was forced to leave it alone (because I wanted the most accurate White House).

All 132 rooms of the White House were incorporated into my build. As a bonus, I also added a perimeter alarm with redstone leading to the Ground Floor Secret Service Office. There, four alarms tell you the direction (N,S,E,W) that a potential security breach is coming from (via tripwire). All of the redstone concerning the alarm is encased in bedrock. I also created a secret underground bunker in place of the White House subbasement, which contains an Emergency Operations Center and is also encased in five layers of bedrock.

The bunker has a functional 7-digit combination lock. An actual redstone button lock, not one of those "hey I can press the last few digits and it opens" things. The Youtube video shows it in action.

Anyway, I know there's some hardcore projects here that'll outshine this by a lot, but please let me know what you think. You'll probably get a better idea of the scale if you watch my Youtube video. If possible, I'd love posted feedback on the video itself.

I’d like to point out that the entire White House is only 200m or “blocks” in width. The entire property is 500m x 500m or “blocks.” So please do tell why it’s 1000 x 1000 blocks? I get that it’s Minecraft and the blocks are 3ft squared, but it’s not to scale as far as size.
