This is the first thing I have built in Minecraft for quite some time. After getting bored of revising I decided that I might as well make something for this contest.

As you can see I am not the most creative of people so I thought I would go for a tried and tested type of map. Whenever I have played survival maps in the past, I have found that I, along with the other people I play with much prefer the wooded grassy lands that involve a lot of running and tactical game play, not sitting 'camping' in a room until everyone else is dead.

This map is designed to be fast paced, none of this sitting around and waiting nonsense. There is also a dead zone, located in the glass sphere above the spawn.

Map stats:
There are well over 200 chests (close to 230)
The map radius in 250 blocks.
24 starting podiums.
There is no redstone involved in the map. This allows it to be played on any server, as I know some servers do not like redstone, especially some that I have played on that are designed for survival game matches.
The entire map was made in WorldPainter

Hints:
With my map, if you can get in the trees a sword is the only thing that will save you. If you are in the open or up high a bow is your best option. If you stumble into the 'rat runs' or into the mine, you best have a good sense of direction otherwise you will be stuck forever.

In the places you are able to 'camp' be sure to check your surroundings, you can and will be easily flanked.

There are two large supply drops. However, both of these leave you exposed, you can either hope to be quick and take what is there or be sneaky and loot the hidden chests around the map.
